There are also some papers about the widow, Sarah Moore, of Thomas Clanton (b. 1773 in Surry County, North Carolina), son of Benjamin, son of the aforementioned Thomas Clanton (or Thomas Clanton's grandson). Sarah Moore Clanton files court papers for her dower 1/3 of 100 acres owned by her husband and a year's maintenance.
